Contacts on Xperia tipo

Hi I've just got a Tipo and can't add all my contacts Email addresses. Both the contacts app and synching with google contacts seem to limit email address fields to 49 chars, I have a few friends who work in the government and they have stupidly long email adddresses (well upto 63 chars).

Can anyone help me work around this limit? I've tried downloading other Android contact apps, but these all have the same problem (probably uses the underlying API).

Hi there!

Well it seems to be a limit of 49 characters when adding contact e-mails in the phone. However, when I added a contact with a 64 character long e-mail (it is indeed _really_ long, can't imagine anyone memorizing that address :smileyhappy:) on the gmail via my web browser on the computer it seems to work to synchronize it to the phone. So, there's your workaround!

Thanks that'll do as a workaround, at least I don't have to remember 65 char addresses.
