Hey,
I bought my phone just 1 week ago and now after a sony software update I can't use it anymore. I have performed an update of the sony software today. I can't remember which version it was but I guess it has to be the most current one.
I performed the update via phone. The update restarted the phone, started to optimize apps, rebooted and since that keeps rebooting.
I see the Sony and Xperia logos, followed by sim-code dialog and phone-password dialog, followed by android logo, than it reboots again. I tried this for about ten times, now.
Any suggestions or help?
Thanks

remove the SIM card and try again with SUS (do not reinsert the SIM card)

You connected your Phone to a Exchange Server which encrypted your phone?
Many people got this Problem.
See this Thread:

And follow the introduction in SUS, this might be work but you lose all your data.
Using SUS helped but of course I lost some of the data on the phone which was not synchronised.
I am still kind of annoyed by this problem, and I am not looking forward to the next update.
As stated above, it worked, but not without losing some data.
I think you might be right concerning encryption. I had encryption enabled, too. I do not plan to give up this feature ..so: no updates for me until this issue is fixed ....
