Have issues with connecting my Xperia Ray with my PC. This is where I'm at:
1) Bought a bluetooth usb dongle for the PC.
2) Paired my phone with the PC.
Now on the phone it says "paired but not connected" and the PC reports that the "device driver was not successfully installed".
What kind of driver do I need to install on my PC to be able to connect the two?

I don't think you understood me right.
The phone does not have the Bluetooth profile required to connect it to a computer, and if I'm not mistaken you should see this info when trying to connect your phone via Bluetooth in PC Companion. You can still use Bluetooth for other communications in the phone. Like connect a headset or send files to other devices.

Whenever I add the bluetooth device (Xperia Ray) it fails the driver update. I've manually searched microsoft compatibility center, but for some reason, Ray is not supported.
Doesn't anyone have a driver for this phone? :S
Tried using the SE PC Companion, but same problem. I get an error message stating (in my native language), that it's not possible to connect via bluetooth at the moment.
There are no special driver for this since the phone does not support the required Bluetooth profile to do so.
In other words, you can't connect Xperia ray to your computer using Bluetooth.
I suggest that you use USB or Wi-Fi if possible.

I don't understand! :S
My phone has a bluetooth function that I can turn on and off, advanced settings... there is even a guide on how to make it work. That's a lot of work from SE if it's not intended to work!
Are you telling me that bluetooth will never work on this phone?

"Xperia Ray
Bluetooth™ technology
Connect wirelessly to other Bluetooth™ devices."
Except "other" means everthing but the PC. Thanks for the answer, much appreciated!
(And a big thanks to SE for not letting people know before actually spending money on such stuff)

I think it is so you do not read your own manual.
Why is there no working driver for windows 7
@martin.skorvald
I can't see where you going with this. Where in the support link that you posted does it say that you can connect your Xperia ray with a computer/ using it with PC Companion?
As I posted above you can use the Bluetooth in Xperia ray for connecting a headset or transferring files.
About drivers. All phones (at least SE phones) uses standard drivers for Bluetooth (normally included in your Bluetooth software). So if you have problems installing drivers for the generic profiles that is being used in our phones models check with the provider of the Bluetooth stack/adapter in your computer, because you need to update these in that case.
Spanish!
