Cannot update to 4.0.2.A.0.62 - Unable to install/start update components

Just yesterday I received a notification on my Xperia Mini Pro telling me I should connect my phone to my PC in order to update the latest firmware.

When doing so, the PC Companion software mentions an update indeed.

Every time I get to the 2. Prepare stage of the update, I get an error, however:

Installation Error

Unable to install or start phone software update components.

I live in the Netherlands and my carrier doesn't push firmware updates through my phone's data network (I don't know if that'd even be possible), what should I do?

install ur update using seus (SONY ERICSSON UPDATE SERVICE)

it is an official sony software
