Dear,
I just bought a new Xperia Neo, when I connect it to Sony PC Companion it's say that I need to update for the new software.
It gives me instructions to remove the usb cables, turn the phone off and then insert the usb cables again while holding the return key. I do this but nothing happens.
I tried on bridge on my mac but that one doesn't even say that there is new software available, I have never updated it.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you

I would recomend this
install SUS -> restart your PC -> run SUS -> follow the steps until it ask you to turn off your phone
turn off your phone -> wait -> connect the USB cable to the phone NOT to the PC -> press and hold the back button -> keep holding -> while still holding connect the other end of the USB cable to your PC -> keep holding the back button

But,
Isn't this exactly the same as with the PC Companion? Why would it work with SUS?
its not quite the same, with PCC you need to connect your phone -> mount your phone then unplug it and reconnect it, just try SUS, it's a lot easier, faster and reliable than PCC

Thank you, i'll try it tomorrow.
I am working with media go now, it's currently loading in all my music in the program. But it's like 80 gb and my phone only has 8 gb space, it won't syncronize automatic will it? I know in bridge on my mac I can choose the albums I want to upload.
God a new phone is frustrating..
if I were you I would take advantage of google music, you can upload up to 20,000 songs free/cloud storage
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.music&hl=en
but if you must transfer them why are you using Media go? you can just mount your phone to your PC/Mac and then drag the albums to the Music folder on the SD card, it's a lot faster.

Really? I dragged a music folder once and it didn't show up in the music app on my phone..
To load the cloud on google music I suppose I always need connection? Won't work with music since I only got 2 GB bandwith a month
tried it again and it worked 0.o
