My camera has stopped working yet again. Previously when this has happened before all I did was repair the install or use SUS. It's always worked previously. This time I've tried all options more than once and it still doesn't work. This is really poor from Sony as it's been a problem since the ICS release. I'm at a loss as to what I can do. The only option I have at the moment is to hack it with a different ROM to rollback to Gingerbread OS. I'd rather not do that so some helpful feedback would be nice.

In that case, I'd suggest you to bring it to the Sony service centre to do a check up.
You did not elaborate what kind of issue you have with the camera.
I always look out for problem when ever i install new apps and suddenly what use to work doesn't.
In such case, i uninstall the app, clear the cache and folder of that app in SD card or memory.
I always do power off. Then check again.
There must be a reason why it is not working and from what you said, it happen before and you fix it with SUS.
Something to start with would be to uninstall the Mcaffee sw, if you have install it. It causes flikering screen and some users has this experience.
Not sure if you got earlier email. The camera doesn't work that's the fault. When I try to use the camera I get the message "ERROR, Camera not available" There are similar problems all over the net. All seem to be linked to the ICS update. My problem's also started with the ICS update. I've had to doe the "fix" three times since the ICS update, this being the third.
There have been no new installs that coincide with the problem and each time it's occurred I've had different apps installed. I've reset the phone once through the handset, updated once through SUS and three times through the repair option. Normally this would fix it after doing it once, not this time.
I'm relating it to a PC issue. It either means the camera is broken, which would not be good or the drivers the phone needs are corrupt or incorrectly installed. As I've done clean installs multiple times I'm presuming the camera is faulty. If that is the case, that is really poor on Sony's behalf. I got this phone as I like Sony kit. To be honest it's been a massive pain in hind sight and I wish I hadn't bothered. Sony need to up there game and post fixs to the problems reported to them.
I will try this if there isn't a software resolve to the problem. Shop staff in my own experience are generally not much use.
