Good evening,
I recently updated my phone build number officially from .42 to .62. Lt18a Arc s.
anyway, just now my battery was sitting at 13%. i went online to check a few things just for roughly 30 secs? the battery warning popped out saying i have 1% battery left. then 10 seconds later my phone shut down on its own. i tried to turn it back on again, but it failed to do so.
I went to the charger and plugged it in. the phone started up and it says it is charging from 13%.
So how is this even possible? Losing 12% in 30 seconds plus shut down? on top of that when i went back to charge it, it states 13% charging.
my phone never encounter such problem. Bought it a month ago. problems just started after the update.
any solutions?
thanks in advance
Edison.

if you reformat your SD card you will lose EVERYTHING that's on it

By going through normal format of SD card will not loos any setting of phone,
ofcourse, you SD card will wipe ALL the data as wooly said in earlier reply.
better to keep a copy of your SD Card date transfered on your PC. than format it.
also it is even safe and advisable to format SD card with external card reader kind of hardware, (meaning, keeping it away from your phone, while performing format)
Cause before the reinstallation of the phone i had apps put into the SD card.
Right now it seems like it took up the space of the SD card, but i cant do anything about it cause i cant even locate it.
I do not know what is important to the SD card, what should stay there and what shouldnt.
So as i was asking.. if i do reformat the SD card, i lose everything.
If i lose everything, does the SD card even work with the phone after i reformatted the SD card?
cause i know the sd card came with some preinstalled stuff inside the SD card.
dont worry about those pre-installed stuff. and after formating SD card, it wont affect anything with your phone, when u mount it back to the phone.
Always keep some 200 mb or more minimum free space on your SD card.
the apps you download , check and move to SD card (if possible)
Setting-->Applications-->manage applications--> move to SD card.. if it is moveable, it wil show you.
also keep track of free / used space of your SD card.
