3G Data traffic keeps switching back on

I keep having to manually turn it off (by unchecking 'Data enabled'), which is annoying. What might be triggering it back on all the time? I want to use wifi when available and only (expensive) 3G data when no wifi is available. Can anyone please advise what I should check? I've read that 'apndroid' can assist, however I don't want to use this if it's not necessary. Thanks.

I'm happy to hear you figured out what was causing it. The phone really should not be able to do this out of the box.

Contact the developer of this app if you cannot figure out how to set it correct. They should know.
