Everytime i reboot my Xperia M4 Aqua the youtube app disappears and i have to reinstall it.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Hello!
I have a Sony Xperia M4 Aqua (model E2306) and the Youtube app keeps uninstalling after reboot.
It dissapears completely from my phone and I need to reinstall it from Play Store.
Android version: 6.0.1.
Do you have any idea why it does that?
Thanks!
Marcelo

Typically Google's apps impossible to uninstall from Xperia devices without root, so how you uninstall Youtube apps in the first place? Did you rooted your Xperia M4 Aqua?
I agree with @Unregistered user do you have a custom ROM? rooted device? chinese version ?
No. I bought at Videotron (Canada) store and it's bone stock.
I just dit the android's updates.
The only thing I have different is an SD card (San Disk ultra 64Gb).
Thanks.
Hi @MarceloM, as mentioned previously in this thread I have not heard of such behaviour previously in an Xperia M4 Aqua. It could be that you have a market variant which allows the YouTube app to be uninstalled, but I've not heard of that previously so this is very peculiar.
For example, are you able to Uninstall the app yourself by going to Settings > Apps > YouTube > Uninstall, when it is installed?
Let me know some more details and I'd be glad to assist you further!
hi sir, please take in your consideration that i'm also encounter the same problem with (E2303) model ,and that problem occur after updating to android marshmallow
we'll wait for your feedback
Hi @firewarrior-96, I am sorry to hear that.
Did you have the chance to try what I suggested previously in this thread, namely tried to see if the Uninstall option is available under Settings > Apps > Youtube?
Let me know some more information and we can look in to it together!
This is also happening to me recently too after I updated my xperia m4 to marshmallow except it's not only youtube that's dissappearing. It's Google and other apps. Every single application is crashing and I cannot use the device properly for longer than 30 seconds before everything begins to crash. It's very frustrating and I wish I hadn't updated it. Please help me out. I tried to get in touch via email but the response was not of any use. Thanks
