Xperia M2 dual camera not working

I have bought two month back Xperia M2 dual. With in two month camera is not working . Very Bad experinec .

Try settings-apps-all-camera,force stop and clear data.Restart your device.

Could you please elaborate? How do you mean that the camera does not work? What happens when you try to open the camera application? Do you get any error messages?

Still camera not working

You may need to perform a software repair using PC companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

as I open my camera there is an error message saying that unfortunately camera hah stopped .what does it mean ??

Have you tried to force stop and clear data for the camera app in settings-apps-all?

I have completed all the software re-install/update suggestions given, also the camera data clear (have 5 different camera apps listed, all for same camera I presume but different sections of it), cache cleared, forced stops, many re-starts.

Still the camera reports it has stopped, with a charming sorry message...

So neither front or back camera nor flash now function at all.  Is it really down to a hardware fault now ?  and if so, poor show Sony as the phone is carefully looked after and always in a hard-shell protective case.

Any suggestions for my next move, all I ask for really is a phone and camera, 95% of the 'permanent' apps are totally useless to me.  Just give me back my device pleeeease, not constant deezer plugs

I have the same problem with my M2 Aqua, if it's a regular occurrence wit these phones then this is a real shame to Sony. I got mine last December and before the end of January the camera refused to work, what's the use of the **bleep** phone if you can't take pictures pictures. I don't even think returning the phone will be accept accepted by the company I bought it from and I feel it's a major discomfort for us customers. Tried everything but still the same. I should have jus just stuck to Samsung.
