SD card gets corrupted after Marshmallow update

Since Marshmallow (6.0) update on my Xperia M5 Dual SD card showing corrupted. but previously it was working fine on the lollipop.
after formatting the SD card in the safe mode, Phone detected the SD card.

but i cant copy paste anything into it.

when i use camera (data storage is set to SD card)  pics are not saving on SD card, it is showing "There is some problem with your data storage"

I checked the SD card it is working in all other phones.
Any solution Please ..

I had the same issue with you, that time (about 2 weeks ago). then i checked my Sandisk ultra 32 Gb to my PC and i found that my ext SDcard corrupted, then i reformat it with somebody advised software (Mini partition wizard) then problem solved, and of course i've lost my all files in there.

My SD card is corrupted after software update (v. 32.3.A.2.33).

Phone: Xperia Z5 compact

card: sandisk extreme 64GB (1 month old card)

Before the update I haven't experienced any problem

Any suggestions?

The card is not corrupt, the OS just decided not to like exFAT format anymore.   If your SD card is 64gb or larger, you will need to partition it into 32gb chunks to be able to use the FAT32 format that Android 6 requires - at least on the Sony Xperia phones. Use a PC to partition the card

It also happened on my C5 Ultra dual, after the Marshmallow update, the phone can not read my sd card. It can be read when I inserted to my Z5 Dual.

So I format it with free format & partition software (in my case Easeus Partition Master). Format the sd card to FAT32, it worked like a charm...
