Screen turns off

The screen of my phone, turns black and then, it starts to work perfectly again when I push my phone into another object. Like my sneakers, it's extremely weird. Please, help me!

Same for me, it started a couple of days ago turning the screen black (but still the backlight on) or showing distorted colors. It used to recover by pressing in the back side around the sony logo area, but from today it is not working anymore.

Welcome to the community!

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this with your devices. It does sound to be related to the devices software hardware in both cases. What you can do is to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion to rule out that this is caused by something software related in your devices.

If you are still experiencing the same behavior after doing a software repair, I recommend that you get in contact with your Local support team for assistance with having your device sent int o an authorized service center for repair.

Sorry desagree Emil, but it looks to me like a HW problem.

I just opened the phone and adjusted the screen connector and now is back working but sadly it doesn´t seem stable, depending how I move the phone I loose it for a while...

I fully agree with your @lm_mr, it was suppose to say hardware. The reason I suggested that you perform a software repair was to rule that anything software related caused this behavior. I'm sorry for any confusion this may have caused, I've updated my previous post to reflect this.

If it is related to your devices hardware I do still recommend that you get in contact with your Local support team for assistance with having your device repaired by an authorized service center.
