M4 aqua - worst phone ever

I am absolutely astounded that xperia is still on the market. This phone has had nothing but problems from day 1. From automatically shutting off, and updating whenever it wants even in the middle of a phone call it will just shut down. The phone on a few occassions it has shut off for days and will not turn back on even with soft reset. Screen freezes, and the processor can't handle much information at once. Now the speaker in the phone stopped working and I have to use a Bluetooth speaker to watch videos, which was fine until now it won't play videos. In any app. Games flutter and lag... It's garbage, absolute garbage. I called my network, phone is going in for repair but that only means I'm going to be stuck with a new pos aqua or my same old pos aqua. I'm surprised I even finished this post.
Please Sony, you are better than this. Let us return this crapped and give us a real smartphone.

I wouldn't compare the Nexus 5 ( a flagship phone) with mid/low end phone (Xperia M4 Aqua)

Honestly just wanted a phone I wouldn't have to factory reset every month and a half. 

I had trust in Sony at the time, Had I known this would be happening I would have taken the Nexus 5. 

At the Time Nexus X and 6 were already out(Not at Fido), and the 5 was discontinued. 

So I made a poor judgement call on taking the M4 over the Nexus 5, I didn't know that at the time.

No, your right they didn't, bit they didn't say anywhere in fine print that I'd have a piece of crap phone either. I trusted that a phone is a phone, I expected nothing more, but it's not even that

So more to add, as of yesterday the phone no longer plays video, even if you record a video the playback is black screen.

Yeah Sony Did not force me to buy this. My choice at the Time was Nexus 5 or Sony M4 from fido. Their two best phones. And Nexus 5 was discontinued, I would have to track down a store that had it. 

I had a good run with the old Sony Pro phone, Nexus 5 was past it's prime and I trusted Sony, So I went for the M4. Going forward I will not personally be buying any Sony Product after this. 

A lot of people are having software issues with this phone. I have had 3 major issues, and am on my second unit so far. 

There is not really user manual that comes with this phone, unless you are talking about the set up page? 

I wouldn't say anything, you really don't want to jinx your phone if you have it... Could be playing UFC... Next thing you know it freezes and you need a factory reset!

yup, a lot of people are having issues with this phone, a lot also are okay.

what unit/model do you have? mine is E2333. I don't know, but mine came with a user manual and the set up guide. plus I downloaded a pdf of it so i can read it well on the first few days. and yes, everyday i play UFC mobile, the phone heats a lot before but now it isn't after the software updates from sony. and yes, no factory reset since opening from the box.

we cannot say that Sony is releasing 100% ok phones from their factory. even other brands, you will hate it when a lemon unit got in your hands.

what the F are you doing with your phone?

did you returned/exchanged your phone already with the dealer?

you've mentioned that since day 1 this phone already gave you problems. if I were on your shoes, I will not wait for another 3 months. GO AND RETURN YOUR PHONE!

Hey I want to request Sony to give us a new software update for m4 aqua dual because software version 26.1.B.2.147 is not working well for the games all the games are lagging or having glitches.Done everything to solve this problem but nothing helped.I tried factory data reset and also Sony pc companion software but it not helped. So please sony provide us new software version for xperia m4 aqua dual and please fix that games lagging issue in next update software version.
