I've bought a new Sony Xperia M, and while checking out the new features, I activated the anti-theft feature of the phone, provided a password, etc. Now, whenever i start my phone, it askes for the password and locks again.
I haven't inserted the micro-sim (waiting my Service provider to send me one), or activated the google account from my phone. How can I reset my phone? Please help.

Closing the thread. By some luck, I could get in the System Settings page and did a soft reset.
Thanks for your help, everyone.
How To Hard Reset Sony Xperia M :
The first method is soft reset method. Press home button and go to settings and then find and tap “Back-up and Reset”. Then find and tap “Factory Reset”. Then the phone will prompt you that this process will erase all the data in the mobile and asks you weather you want to continue or not. Then select “Yes” and select “Reset Phone”. This will initiate the reset process and the mobile will reboot and on after some time. Don’t panic when your mobile automatically on and off while the rebooting process is continuing. As the resetting process deletes all the data present in your phone, it is always a better choice to do backup and save it in a location other than mobile phone.
Still if you face the same problem again and again try to repair your device with SUS. if this helps please give me some kudos
Thanks, Zakirox. I can't open the home page. As I power on the phone, I am asked for the password and after entring the correct password, it locks back again. Once, I managed to go to the home screen (can't remember how), but the phone didn't respond on tapping the Settings icon and then locked itself.
I'll try to reset the device with Update Service software. Thanks for your help.
Thanks for replying. Let me try this service and will update the status here.
Will the Update Software update the phone's firmware, or just reset the current firmware?
