Could you elaborate the issues please? Does the GPS work at all?
Have you tried resetting the phone software after you updated it? If not, I would recommend that you give it a try to see if the problems persist.

Have you try clear the cache/data of your GSP application?
Perhaps the information of this link can also be useful in this case:
By resetting I mean reset the phone software (Settings > Backup and reset > Reset) and not just restarting the phone.
I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..
