Repair your phone with SUS or PCC and try again, do NOT install taskillers, task managers, antivirus, battery apps, ram apps, booster apps

Update Service (SUS)

PC Companion (PCC)

Bridge (for Mac)

this problem mainly occurs when u move ur music data from one location to another say frm internal to sd etc...
bt if this is nt the reason
den u cn install playlist backup app n create backup of walkman, poweramp playlist in ur sd card n dat cn be restored anytym

your task killer may be clearing/deleting your playlist file when you switch off ur fone mate. Try force stopping your task killer or even uninstalling it and see if that solves the problem. You can always reinstall it if it is not the issue.

Also playlists are only pointers to direct the app to the songs. If the songs location has changed it wont be available to the app. but this wont clear your playlist, the songs will be listed in your playlist but unplayable. If your playlist is nonexistent then surely your taskkiller is clearing the files upon shutdown or reboot.

Same happening with me too, and i am not using any apps u guys mentioned here. i have only pre installed apps in my phone.

i create playlist, add songs and save it but after restarting phone, playlist is there but with 0 songs in it.

i didnt even move my songs and still happening.

So the solutions you gave here is not enough i guess.

thanks for the advice that has been given. I ended up using the "power amp". I made the play list in "power amp", then I restart the phone. And the play list is still intact or not lost its contents.
