I bought a BDPS1700 blu-ray player the other week from a local, independent retailer as part of a bundle with a Samsung QE49Q60 television and a Polk Magnifi Mini soundbar.
A member of the retailer's team came to our house to set the system up and all seemed to be fine. However, when I skip to the next chapter on a DVD, the sound drops for a second or two so the people on the screen are 'goldfishing' (their lips are moving but there's no sound).
Does anyone knows what the issue might be here?

Thanks Ed.
Hi James,
Does this happen on all DVDs? I'd recommend updating the player's software: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/home-video-blu-ray-disc-players-recorders/bdp-s1700/downl...

Thanks Win, I tried updating the software but received a message saying the player was fully updated.
