Is there going to be a firmware update for the SLT-a35

Is there going to be a firmware update for the SLT-a35 any time soon or are Sony abandoning owners of said camera to force them to buy a newer one? I want focus peaking!

There is no real way of predicting future firmware updates. However, Sony developers do read these forums on a regular basis and your comments will be noticed by the 'right people'
