Audip Adjustment

I have a DVP SR760H DVD player. When the dvd plays, I can't adjust the volume with either the dvd remote or the TV one, nor can I mute it. It's very loud, although I have the setting on as TV. Can someone please give me an idiot's guide to resolving this, please?

This seems like a software glitch, the first thing to try would be to disconnect everything from your TV then unplug the TV and the player and leave them to de-power for 3 mins or so, then connect everything back up and try using them again.

Could you let us know the model of your TV? Perhaps the issue is with it rather than the player.
