Yes I've heard of this in the Channel Islands - definitely an ISP side problem. The box isn't being told its correct geo-location by the ISP and so is defaulting to the standard content lineup. I'd get in touch with your ISP and explain the problem as its only something they can fix.

Thanks

Hi all

I have two Sony Network Media Players that have exactly the same problem.

They are both SMP N-100.

when I first purchased them a few weeks ago they had Sky News, BBC I Player, 5 on Demand, Qriocity and others including Youtube.

After a system update those channels with the exception of Youtube have been replaced with other channels

that I do not need or want : Concierge.com, Epicurious.com, Style.com, Dailymotion, Wired, Blip.tv, Singing fool, Video Detective and others.

I have tried updating but I already have the latest update .I have reset everything again and again and it makes no difference. I am located in Jersey in the Channel Islands and i am now wondering if these boxes are set up for this location.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems or could recommend anything else I might try.

Snow50

Message was edited by: Catmambo

Edited title to make it easier for others with similar issues to find.
