Play Station 3 Connection

I am trying to connect my new Play Station 3 to my TV (Sony KLV-V32A10E) but the connection doesn't seem to work. Are these two compatible?

With a HDMI cable but I take the message "not a supprted video format" (a translation of the Greek message)

You're better of asking in the Official Sony PS3 forum (link) as I'm sure they will have experienced this problem before..:smileywink:

But you could try this..

Turn the PS3 off connect the HDMI cable to the PS3 and the TV

Then hold down the PS3 power button, it should beep once but keep holding down the power for about 5 seconds untill you get another beep.

Hopefully your PS3 should be set to the HDMI connection and appear on your Bravia..

But as I said you're better of asking in the Official Sony PS3 forum..

Thank a lot for your help.

It works fine now.

My son has connected to another TV before, so I had to "pair" it with the new TV by pushing the ON/OFF button till the two beeps.

If You like connection HDMI, You have tom select such in video setings, like manu-setings-video setings

Of course, on TV select source like hdmi 1, hadmi2, AV1, AV2 if scart ect.
