Chromecast - no audio

I have a KDL-42W653A. I have no audio when casting from any device (android/pc) to a chromecast dongle in any hdmi port in my tv. The same chromecast dongle works 100% in other TV's with the same source.

If I screen cast/miracast I have audio/video. I have audio/video from any other hdmi source.

I have no audio via the chromecast dongle when casting, I do have the volume control that becomes active when connected to a device, plus video.

It has never worked since I got the chromecast.

I have PKG4.600eua firmware on the tv (current) & the last two versions of android on a nexus & motog.

No audio is pants

Im running a question in tandem with this on chromecast forums, but alas the experts ask the same questions I have answered in my question & trot out the same advice that is in every other question.

I have to believe its a Sony issue, the kit works on other devices, just not on this TV.

1. Must use wall plug of chromecast

2. Boot chromecast at least 2 minutes before u can turn on your sony tv.

3. Turn on your sony tv.

4. Woola, audio back on!

No mate, rubbish chromecast they refused to replace
