Web Applications/add-ons/plugins???

Hello everyone ,

I was wondering if there is a way to add our own selection of web based apps or addons or plugins in our Sony Tv's ??

I believe that there are essential apps missing....like Internet Radio or IPTV .....

I still have the Ellysium trailer promo on my applications menu...isnt it a bit old by now ?????

Hi there

Sony has utilised what is called a "closed eco-system". Meaning that only approved applications/addons etc are allowed. You cannot add your own.

Hi There,

Thanks for the answer as I was wondering the same thing. It's a bit short sighted I think. I'm in the UK and don't have what I want in the smart section. The retailers market it as a Smart TV with access to App Store etc. Slightly disappointed now.
