having just got my new sony 40LX903 3D lcd I am having trouble getting colour and contrast settings to a good level and seem to have to tinker with them on different programs. Also skin tones appear terrible looking grey and washed out, can anyone give me advice on how to solve this

manu-setings-system setings-color-adjust Your self

manu-setings-system setings-color teperature- chose mode cool, natural, warm1 or warm2

You can adjust contarst and brightnees there or on function Hue, where You can adjust more red or green

I would allso try scene select in system settings

Hi thanks for help but tried all these and still not happy with picture, every time I think I've cracked it another program starts that has picture issues !!!!

You could allso chack antena or cable, depance what You have. I will make auto search of programs manu-settings - system settings - auto start up. If You have cable so chose auto scan and if You connect TV to antena, than quick scan.
