Hi, I need the backup CD for the Vaio notebook VGN-FS415E, I forgott to burn the vaio files and had install Windows XP Professional instead of the Home Editon. But I didn't overwrite the system, first I deleted the Home Editon and intalled
Professional and loosed all the vaio files and programs..... I new it was a stupid fault but I hope anyone can help me

Hi mr_oeli,

Welcome to Club Vaio,

Did yo change pertition sizes when you installed XP pro?

If not then the recovery partition on your hard drive should still be there.

If you wish to restore your Vaio to as new follow the procedure for recovering your FS415E

If you did resize the partitions and deleted your recovery partition then you will have to request a new set of recovery discs from Vaio-Link

maybe anyone has the (backup) dvd and can burn it for me or knows anyone a better idea to get this dvd???
