USB problems

Vaio VGN-T2XP/S

I have installed sp2 via Windows Update and after my USB ports stopped working.
I have reinstalled drivers, uninstalled, and reinstalled and nothing happen.
I have a mini storage Iomega and even that is not detected when i connect it in USB ports.
Does anybody here knows what should i do and why this is happenning...?

Blencogo, HI, will you be able to tell me why when i uninstall service pack the USB ports will come back again...?

Hi fercruz1,

Probably because the USB drivers you have conflict with SP2.

You need to update your USB drivers to the latest version.

In device manager expand 'USB Controllers'
Right-click on the first one and select Update Drivers.
When the wizard appears, select "Search the Web for new Drivers"

Repeat this for every USB Controller listed. (I don't know how many you have on your model - I seem to have 4).
