topic Fn button and VAIO Zone in PCs & Accessories

I've had my Sony VAIO VGN-FS415E for about 2 months, and have been puzzling over why my problem is occuring. The secondary functions of the F buttons (F4 F5 etc) are activated by holding the Fn key and pressing the appropriate button. However, occasionally i find that they do not work; the normal functions work, but the secondary functions do not work. I am assuming that the problem is either with the Fn button, or, more likely in my eyes, a settings problem.

Has anyone else had this problem? please let me know as it is very tedious having to go into sound options every time i want to change the volume or mute it.

My second problem is not so much a problem as a query. On the specification page for the VGN-FS415E, it says that it has the VAIO Zone software. It doesn't. Is this a fault at manufacture-that it hasn't been installed; or is it just a mistake on the page.

I'm not really bothered about VAIO Zone- its nothing i'm going to send it back for; but am i missing out?
