Hi there!

i own a VGN-BX197XP vaio and i have the following problem.
My fan seems to be working for 4-5 seconds then stops for a second and then starts again. And guess what? that job never stops making an annoying silent noise. Do i have a problem?
Is it usual for my model? Is there a way to overcome my problem?

Thanks in advance.

thanks for your answer,

But I am not sure i understood exactly what you told me. My selection in the plugged in meny was adaptive. you suggested me to change it to performance? Is my vaio problematic or is it usual for that model in adaptive mode to have its fun working all the time? I even tried the battery mode and the fun kept working with larger breaks(10 sec) this time. Thanks again.
