Hi all.

Since the new update ( ver. 3 ) is avaleble ( 01 02-07 ) my laptop refuse to get it, and i get this error message:

Have you tried downloading the update from here ...

Also could you let us know what model Vaio you have please..

I have a VGN FE21M ......and i think i have tried all possybilities.........but can you also try to type the link for me, so i can copy, becouse i can`t open links........thats also a weird problem i have

ooopssssssss..........the link works and brings me to the Dutch support site...(( wich is good coue i am dutch.))...........but too bad.....i can download the file.............but it just WON`T install..........i get same errors....grrrrrrrrrr this drives me crazy

Thanx for the links.....but same probs....it DOES download the file.......but it REFUSE to install and i got same list of errors i wrote before

Try installing the Vaio update program by doing the following..

Go to the folder that you contains the Vaio-update file SOAVUD-01451800-UN.exe (the name may be slightly different)

Then extract the files, something like win-Rar should enable you to do this, once extracted click and run the set-up.exe file..

HI

Just want to let you know i have solved my problems by using my system recovery disk,,,,(( kinda formatt C )).......sure lost a few progs but i can reinstall them...anbyhow i did not lost very important files or stuff like that.
Got the vaio update 3.0 now and all seems to work fine
