Which is the best codec pack for windows vista, vista codec 4.4.9 or k-lite codec full?

If you like Media player classic then the K-lite pack if you like BS Player then the Vista Codec 4.4.9 Be careful to not use the morgan streaming in K-Lite it can cause buffer underun hack exploits but heck a lot of software has hack exploits. I use Media player classic and K-Lite as I have a HD projector and it gives you a home cinema version and allows you to adapt the screen dimensions to suit.

i dont use any of the players, all i need is to play avi xvid files and burn them with nero and windows dvd maker. thats all which is the best package for this.

Vista Codecs Package it pretty good. I use that on the one in the lounge but I use Satsuki Codecs package for my one as it has media player classic.

If you just wanna watch .avis in Vista tho, google Vista Codecs Package, download it, install it with the default settings and you should have no problems.
