FZ11E won't recognize RAM

Hello,

today i bought 1GB extra RAM for my FZ11E, but the system won't recognize it...

the brand is transcend...

Does anyone know why it isn't recognized?

What is the exact specifiction of the memory you have bought?

Is it DDR2 PC2-5300 • CL=5 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR2-667 • 1.8V • 128Meg x 64
or DDR2 PC2-6400 • CL=5 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR2-800 • 1.8V • 128Meg x 64

Most people here buy their memory from Crucial.com because they guarantee it will be compatible.

these are the specifications: DDR2 200Pin SO-DIMM DDR2-667 Unbuffer Non-ECC Memory

From the specifications it looks like it should work.

Have you tried re-seating the memory to make sure it is fully inserted?
What happens if you take the original memory out? If it does not work with just the new memory, then it may be faulty.
