VGN-FZ11Z Big problems

Hello,
I have bought a Sony Vaio Notebook (FZ11Z) last Sunday. Today a tried to copy files from a Multimedia Card but my notebook's card reader doesnt work. I don't have warnings in device manager, I tried to use even the last driver but without success.I checked different MMC/SD but whithout success.
The Second problem is the display,I see 2 dead pixels, It's any way to fix the display, or I must go in service? I can't understand why display have dead pixels, the notebook is new.(I bought on september 16th from the store and it was sealed.)

I would take it back to the store and either exchange it or ask for a refund.

Have you updated your Vaio?

I see there is a Memory Card Reader/Writer Driver 2.0.0.18 available for download.
