wierd keyboard problem

Hi all,

some of my keyboard keys have suddenly decided to produce the wrong symbols, for example when i press the "k" key i actually get "2" . this seems to be affecting the keys "uiop[jkl;m,. " . but when i hold down the fn key the keys work again. i think i may have put the computer into somesort of mode does anyone know how to get out of it. i would put a question mark into this message but the question mark key wont work!

Hi Jo and welcome to Club Vaio.

Try turning off the Number Lock by pressing the NumLk key. This changes the keys to a Numeric Keypad for the keys you mention.
