Browser keeps jumping 'back' to previous page

This is driving me nuts!

Whilst browsing (IE 7)on a newly purchased VAIO VGN-FZ21E, my broswer keeps jumping back to the previous page (just like I've clicked the 'back' button).

I've turned off 'double click' on the touch pad - which has made no difference.

I don't know if it is :

1. a bug with IE7 (never experienced this before on 2 other machines
2. a bug in Vista
3. a fault with the laptop

Anyone else suffered this problem ??

Hi crash69,

welcome to Club Vaio..

Try going to Start > Control panel > Hardware and Sound > Mouse..

A mouse properties window should open..

select the Tapping Tab and make sure the Tap Off when Typing box is checked..
