Downloading from the Internet.

Please can somebody help me !! This problem is driving me nuts !!! Eveytime I try to download something from the internet, ie Ebay Turbo Lister, I keep getting the same error message "The connection to the server has been reset". This happens all the time. What ever I try to download I keep getting the same message. A friend told me to use a download manager but when I tried to download that, up came the error message again.

A friend has looked at the security set up on my Vaio but he says it is all as it should be.

Any help would be very welcome and much appreciated.

Hi Stalky44 and welcome.

Does someone nearby have a wireless router using the same channel? Try changing the wireless channel.

The other thing to try is turning off the Wireless Zero Configurarion - you can always turn it on again if it doesn't work.

Control Panel -> Administration Tools -> Services -> Wireless Zero Configuration -> Disable

Double-click on WZC and select 'Disable' from the drop down box - then click on 'STOP' in the box underneath.
