vaio recovery tool

hi i recently reformated my vaio VGN-N11H/W but i deleted my recovery tool, is there a way of getting it to its original state when i bought it. thanks any help will be much appreciated.

The Recovery Tool only works with the original Operating System. If you have installed a different OS from the originally installed Sony OEM OS then you cannot carry out a Recovery from within Windows.

To Recover your Vaio to its original state either: -

1. Boot with the Recovery System Disc in the optical drive. This will automatically start the Recovery Tool.

or: -

2. If your Recovery Partition is still present on your hard drive, tap F10 continuously when you turn your Vaio on - when you see the first Vaio logo. This will start the Recovery Tool.

If you have formatted the Recovery Partition and have not made Recovery Discs then you must contact Sony and buy a replacement set of Recovery Discs (about £30).
