topic would using a notebook cooler avoid overheating for fz21z model? in PCs & Accessories

hello, hope someone can help.
A silly question but I'll ask it anyway for my peace of mind. Bought a new fz21z laptop as my old vaio just gave up as it won't load the OS, and my WLAN stopped working. I think its because it overheated, I'm not sure to be honest. Would using a laptop cooler (Antec) help cool down my laptop temp? or would it further cause it to overheat? I'm wondering if it might just interfere with the laptops own cooling system.

They're a good solution, but when the machine is working perfectly I'd not bother with it, as it's more to carry and plus it increases the noise.
