Sigmatel CXD9872 High Definition Audio Codec for WinXP Pro

Hi all, I had to install WinXP on my new FE41M and it was quite painful to recover all drivers working, the only ones that i cannot find are modem and Sigmatel´s... does anybody know where i can find them? Thank you so much in andvance!!

Hi Guido and welcome to Club Vaio.

You should be able to find ALL the XP Drivers and Utilities from Sony FE31M Downloads - these are for the FE31M model which is almost the same as your FE41M but without Vista.

Remember that XP does not support High Definition Audio so you will need to install the Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio (KB888111) first? This allows the Sigmatel sound chip to be recognised and then the Sigmatel driver will install.
