Memory Stick Pro Duo FE31M

Yesterday I bought a Sony Cybershot T-500 camera. Allong with it I also bought a Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo 8GB Mark 2.

Of course I would like to transfer the files from the stick directly to my computer using the build in Memory Stick Pro Duo slot (in right front of laptop).

It seems though that the slot does not accept higher then 4GB (I think). It keeps wanting to format the card and when I format it I can only format it up too 3.58 while it's a 8GB on top of that if I format the card my Sony Camera can't read stick anymore. Right now it cannot read/write the card until I format it on the laptop.

Anyway the question is, is there an update or something so it will work.

Current driver is:
Driver provider: Microsoft
Driver date: 21-06-2006
Driver version: 6.0.6001.18000

I know I have a secondary slot for SD and Also memory stick to put in the side but I prefer not using that one (haven't tested it yet either).
