This driver is an integral part of the XP MCE installation, XP SP2 installation and of Vista. Microsoft do not openly support it for use with XP or Server.

You could try downloading it from somewhere like CNET - it is supposed to work with most Windows versions (and 2003): -

http://download.cnet.com/Microsoft-eHome-Infrared-Transceiver/3000-18490_4-72710.html

alternatively you could try the Microsoft Roll-Up 2 download here: -

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=B39D53F1-0AC9-433B-B488-4CAB82F31DC8&displaylang=en

It is designed for MCE but may work.

Let us know how you get on.
