Intel(R) ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919

Hello everyone!

I am running Vista x64 on Vaio VGN FW-21M and have a problem with an unknown device in the Device manager. It is supposed to be Intel(R) ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919
Apparently the driver is not installed.

Msg displayed:

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

I have tried to find some solutions for this problem, which appears to be quite common, but have not been successful yet.

Anyone any ideas?

Since I cannot edit the post I will just write it as a reply.

All the fuss is about the Fn Key driver.

Did someone already manage to sort this out on x64 Vista Ultimate?

Answering to myself again and hopefully to some others with the same problem.

The goddamn Interface Controller was the missing SFEP driver:

For X64 based system can be found as well as many other drivers on
