Fail to update Vaio Recovery program

Hej,

Any idea about the problem of updating the Vaio recovery program i.e the laptop indicates that the installation of latest version in Vaio Update fails to update.
The message pop up:

Följande uppdateringar misslyckades eller måste installeras manuellt.:
•VAIO Recovery Center Update Program (2.52 MB)

I tried to install manually but still not working.

I am having the same problem and am waiting for a reply from Sony. Unfortunately it has been more than one week since I wrote to them and they are still discussing the issue with their support team. To elaborate from the previous post, I even tried to run the update manually from the c:\update folder but to no avail. After it begins to install, it stops all of a sudden and nothing happens.

Have they replied you? I am thinking to uninstall and reinstall it to see if it is workable.
