Sony vaio z11wnb & windows 7 install problems

have recently installed windows 7 on my laptop with a clean install not a upgrade,
have issues where stamina - speed switch does not work
aswell as dvd drive , WWlan t-mobile broadband does not even pick it up in device manager, brightness FN keys anybody have a guide to get this all working frustrating.
any help appreciated

Hi si_1976 and welcome.

Sony is not yet supporting your model with Windows 7 upgrade drivers and utilities.

To install Windows 7 now you will need to install ALL the Vista Original Drivers and Utilities from here: -

http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/downloads/preinstalled/index.aspx?l=en_GB&m=VGN-Z11WN_B

And then all the Updated Drivers and Utilities from here: -

http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/downloads/updates/index.aspx?l=en_GB&m=VGN-Z11WN_B

You will see the WWAN Connection Manager and WWAN driver there but you will need to install everything to get all the special keys etc working.

I have problem only with HDMI sound output! What shall i do? I think update of nvidia`s driver is needed. But there is no one on vaio update.

Also i have a question to Sony. There are two simmilar serias of VAIO Z-1x and Z-2x. WHY Z-1x not supported by Windows 7? When I was buying VAIO, Sony promesed to me VIP support!! And So where is this support. I have core 2 duo 2,5 Ghz, 4GB RAM!!! and NO Win 7 support!!! What the ... ?
