Hi
I heard that window 7 upgrade is started but i haven,t received any email from sony because I am eligible for free upgrade. I already registered my detail for free upgrade and still waiting for the confirmation from sony. I,ve seen a post on this site which say that you order by clicking the link posted with thread. Is that only for the people who are not eligible for free upgrade?

There have been problems sending the email. If your first registration was confirmed, go straight to the order site

http://www.vaiowindows7upgrade.com/

and order your Upgrade Kit. The email you are missing simply directs you to this site.

Good Luck - if it is very busy you may have to try a few times.

I've tried this but get the message "An upgrade has already been allocated to this serial number" when I've entered my payment details? I've posted my problem in another thread and just noticed this... any ideas who I can contact???

I understand those who have successfully completed the order process get an email from the shipping company which gives a phone number to contact. Perhaps someone will post it here.

It is worth checking your Junk Mail - just in case something is in there!

If not then I think you will need to contact Vaio Support on Monday.

Thanks Blencogo... hopefully someone can help then... It's like there is an order in the pipeline for my VAIO but it's not completed. I remember the website hung when I first tried entering my details (even before I could enter payment details)... perhaps it's that then...
