Hi itachi7 and welcome.

Sony do not do upgrades because the only upgrades realistically possible on notebook computers are to the memory and the hard drive and possibly pushing things a bit the optical drive and processor.

You can upgrade the memory to a maximum of 8GB using DDR3 - PC3-8500 (SO-DIMM) modules. Sony do not sell memory so most of us here buy from Crucial.com who offer a full compatibility guarantee - have a look here: -

http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/listparts.aspx?model=VAIO%20VPCEB11FM

Upgrading the graphics is not possible as the Intel on-board graphics are part of the motherboard and would cost more than a new laptop to replace.

The same applies to the screen - a replacement to HD screen would probably cost more than a new laptop.

It is a pity you did not buy the VPCEB1Z0E/B which for £250 more has a faster processor, 4GB of RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5470 Graphics, Blu-ray Disc™ Player: BD ROM/ DVD+-RW/+-R DL/RAM, HD 1920 x 1080 screen etc...etc...

Hi guys, just wondering if an upgrade is possible on this model laptop VPCEB1EOE, I think it's the /t one in the list. It has 3gb ram at the moment and integrated graphics. I was hoping on upgrading the ram and maybe adding a dedicated graphics card.
Also, any chance of changing the screen to a HD ?
Does sony have an area on their website for upgrades as I can't seem to find anything of the sort.

Thanks

Ahh that's a bit unfortunate, so there's no chance of getting a separate graphics card on the laptop? Thanks a lot for the link though, will definitely be using it.
