Breaking DRM?

Sorry Kelo but dont understand how i need to do something that sony dosent want? I have paid for the tracks. The site i got them from said they can be fransfered to mp3 as long as they accept wma files.

I may be really stupid i am new to his but i dont understand.

You are breaking the law if you break DRM, thats how the law sees it and yes I disagree with the law. You paid for them so you should be able to use them on VP.

a very honest answer kee-lo.
i suppose that rodeoblue has to realise what needs to be done in order to use his music in the vp.

thats just the way it works my friend.if you dont want to break the law when you already paid for your music this concerns you.if you want to know more about the transferring to the vp and how you can do that,then keep the post running

Really? So that means they know what's going on here, aren't they?
Then they know that how much VP users are suffering from softwares, and what they do ? Nothing but releasing some "Keep our Mouth Shut" firmwares and stupid software upgrades ... Great ...

Things move slowly with Sony.
(Maybe they should make that their new company line:smileylaugh: )

Kee-Lo's right though, they do monitor the forum and do make the occasional post - I use the term "occasional" in the loosest possible way however.

The problems with VP are no secret and not exclusive to a couple of owners. This is an issue on a worldwide scale and affecting thousands of people. So, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that Sony are aware that something needs to be done. Let's just hope they do it soon!

Just don't hold your breath in the meantime.

They are far too busy with launching their PSP now, they delayed Europe's PSP release date, because they haven't had enough PSP units for USA!
So, I'm sure the least thing they care at the moment is VP and it's owners!

As TR says it moves slowly, so they are reading, but it can take time for the developers to know.

Time will tell if the PSPs are any good. Makes you wonder though..

Funnilly enough alot of the PSP's have been recalled in Japan as they've found that repeated use of the top trigger buttons (L1 & R1) cracks the screen.

Nintendo is creating touch sensitive screen gadgets, and Sony creating SENSITIVE SCREEN gadgets!

As for Nintendo, Sony should really beware that there could be competition: kids like handhelds and Nintendo DS really fits in with the idea. Whereas PSP is for older people, who prefer consoles.

We will see who wins.
