I intend to fit a second HD.
I have located ribbon cable and power cable.
It looks as though i pull the clip/slide below HD cradle and it slides out.
Insert new HD and away we go.
The old one will be left in place and i presume the jumper is set already to "master"
I will have to set the add one to slave.
Does the above look about correct?
Could not find any thing on the vaio site about adding a d rive.
Thanks for pointers or any help.

Looks about right to me - you may need to set your new drive to cable select (Just look at the jumper positions on your primary drive) and set the BIOS to detect the second drive.

The jumper settings are normally on a label affixed to the drive. If not then the drive manufacturers website should have the details.
