I've got an RZ-322 also - but no, this model doesn't have built-in Bluetooth.

I do use the Nokia PC-Suite software with my Nokia 6310i phone from my business laptop which does have built-in Bluetooth - apart from a slightly tedious point and click sequence everytime I want to establish the computer-phone connection it works well providing either a "serial" interface for the Nokia PC-Suite Phone Editor (phone book, SMS, settings mgmnt) and as a fax interface which I use infrequently.

Note that the phone seems to only support one connection session over Bluetooth at any time - I can't use my Bluetooth headset while the computer's connected to the phone.

Do be careful with phone compatibility - for example, the earlier 6310 didn't work and firmware on the 6310i less than v5.51 didn't work either - haven't a clue about any other phones. I'd expect recent phone models to be OK though.

When WinXP Service Pack 2 comes along it will support Bluetooth adaptors natively (no additional drivers required). I'm just about to get my hands on Release Candidate 2 and am looking forward to easier BT connections.

In looking for a suitable adaptor for my own RZ-322 I found that the TDK product seemed to get most positive reviews.

RZ-322 Bluespace ?

I have a RZ-322. Does anyone know if I have a built-in bluetooth technology in my computer ? I assumed don't and I bought sometime ago a bluetooth USD adapter from Sitecom. It never worked well. Whenever I want to use it (or try to use it) I have to unplug and plug it again. Connection with my Nokia phone sometimes work and most of the times don't. Does anyone have tried to use this Bluespace software ? Is it compatible with the Sitecom USB adapter or only with the Sony adapter. Where can I buy Sony's adapter and for how much ?
Do I have a hope to use bluetooth ?

Graham,

I've always been a bit sceptical about brands like D-Link and Belkin for anything more than simple network kit (gotta be careful with credibility, having extolled Belkin's cables in another thread).

There's a Netgear router that does 802.11g, ADSL, a 4 port 100BaseT switch and firewall for about £90-100. My local exchange is going ADSL on 5th August so that's where my money's going.

Hope you enjoy John Lewis, I enjoy visiting the stores when I'm in GB. . There's talk of JLP opening near me in Northern Ireland soon.
