DUAL SCREENS

I noticed with my new desktop I could have 2 screens plugged in (analog/digital) and have the ability to have them both on. Unfortunately it makes both exactly the same which was not what I was hoping for. Was wanting a dual screen setup where I could move a window from one to the other and thus have TV on one while browsing on the other. Is this possible? My computer at work does it but maybe they have 2 graphics cards.

Thanks.

Looks like a good program but it does not seem to recognise the second screen as a second monitor. Apparently it is just a display and does not seem to work. Is there anyway around this?
