Old Sony Drivers

Hi!

I have a VGN-AW31M laptop bought in UK.

Sony is not letting me update the graphics drivers (which are dated back to 2009) outside their site(tried to update them on nvidia.com).

On the support site there are just the same old updates from 09/11/2009. Nothing newer.

Without the new drivers I cannot enjoy my laptop in the full spectrum.

Please give me a reply either you're going to update them, or let the restriction go.

I will NOT buy a new laptop, because of old drivers!

Hi master2711,

You will not receive an answer to your question from Sony on this ‘user self help’ forum.

There is a way round installing drivers direct from NVIDIA by using a modified INF file.

Have a look at the following link:

As these drivers are untested by Sony you proceed at your own risk...
